Jobos Beach, (less than 5 minutes away) offers an interesting combination of mild waters for snorkeling, great for families, and an aggressive surf perfect for surfers. This beach sometimes has strong currents but there is a perfect shallow area to cool off in. It can get crowded on the weekend, in the summer and during surf competitions.
Shacks Beach (less than 5 minutes away) also known as Kiquebrado, perfect for snorkeling & scuba diving, has a reef that covers about 300 meters where you will find an awesome variety of fish, corals and other species of marine life. At the reefs end there is a drop off of about 30 feet called "The Blue Hole" where manatees, turtles and a number of other amazing sealife can sometimes be spotted in and around the caves within the reefs.
Middles Beach, (just 5 minutes away) Awesome surfing spot but too dangerous for swimming. World-wide surfing competitions are celebrated here.
